Samenvatting
From 6 April 1980 to 27 September 1980 the summertime was introduced in the Federal Republic of Germany. The influence of this introduction on the traffic safety was studied. It is concluded that the decrease in the number of fatalities (164 in 1980 less than in 1979) should have been more without the introduction of the summertime.
