Samenvatting
Research has been done by IW-TNO into the possibilities of injury prevention in automobile collisions since the nineteen sixties. Much has been attained already; in particular the safety belt has saved many lives. Special attention is given to the side collision which is considered as a main problem. TNO has developed for this research a new anthropometric dummy.
