During October 1990 a combined survey was done into the presence and use of safety belts and child seats on the back seats of cars. Compared with the results of 1989, there is an increase in use of safety systems on the back seats of cars of 10% on locations outside built-up areas and inside built-up areas an increase in use of these systems of 8%.
