This paper deseribes the automatie haedway control system fraa theoretical and hardware viewpoint, with emphasis on thecontrol logic. The electronic and electromechanical hardwaredesign based on the theory presented is fully described. Thelimitatione and advantages of the system are explained, basedon test results from actual trial runs on an implementedvehicle.
