Samenvatting
Pedestrians are involved in a large number of accidents. In Germany they constitute over 33% of accident fatalities. The pedestrian- car situation must be improved by accomplishing by cooperation of the automobile industry. The purpose of this study is to get basic information about the kinematic and mechanical loads of the impacted pedestrian. The test program and the results are described.
