Samenvatting

During 1970 to 1977 the SWOV has carried out a roadside survey to the use of alcohol in traffic and its effect on traffic safety. Besides a literature survey was made on research into the use of alcohol and the danger of alcohol in traffic and into the activities to counteract this danger. A summary of both studies is presented and the results are discussed.
