Samenvatting
Four possibilities for the decrease of fuel consumption are discussed: (1) limiting the mobility; (2) better use of public transport; (3) development of transport modes with a higher profit; and (4) the increase of profit of the nowadays cars. Furthermore the energy conscious use of the car must be improved. Results of a marketing research to the interest of a fuel consumption indicator are also presented.
