A study for a methodical approach for the judgement of visual hindrance for the living environment caused by traffic and traffic provisions and infrastructure is presented. Visual hindrance is described and judged by criteria such as the traffic concentration, the distance of perception, the scale of the infrastructure, the type of landscape and the amount of vegetation.
