The service provides transportation from any one point within Batavia (USA) to another on a 20 minute schedule. Radio communication between station and vehicle is effected with 2-way mobile units in each vehicle. Digital communications experiments are planned. Operation and maintenance costs are estimated to be 15 cents per mile.
