Samenvatting
This article deals with the significance of ageing processes of the car as a sense organ in persons employed in the transport industry. Medical problems of traffic involving age-conditioned hearing impairment should be considered individually, and the assessment of further fitness can only be made by checking the hearing capacity, which is best done with the help of audiometry.
