Samenvatting
Follow-up results of injuries involving the distal femoral epiphysis and of supracondylar fractures of the femur in children and adolescents are reviewed. While avulsion injuries of the epiphysis can be treated conservatively with few exceptions compression injuries of the epiphyseal plate often require operative management to guarantee exact reduction.
