Samenvatting
One of the central goals of the Physical Planning Orientation Report 1974 is the future restriction of mobility in the Netherlands. It is in conflict with many forces in present society, which rather stimulate the increase of personal mobility. Consequently limited use of private cars can only be realized if alternative mobility opportunities are strongly promoted, e.g. rail transport for commuting and other public transport facilities.
