Samenvatting
Elderly people are increasingly participating in traffic. This has implications for road safety, and measures and policy in this field. The paper deals with the vulnerability of old people in traffic, the nature of their accidents and their number. Physiological and psychological characteristics of old people determine the way how they participate in traffic.
