Samenvatting
The author deals with the results of tests carried out on a site along the A12 motorway. Several samples were taken to estimate he pollution caused by road salt, either blown into the verges by cross-winds, or washed by rain from the road surface. Salt concentration in the soil is very much dependent on rain volumes and distance from the edge of the road surface.
