Samenvatting

As the amount of inter-modal and inter-regional trips recently increase gradually, the demand for integrated multi-modal transportation information(MTI) also increases. But in spite of much available traffic information, travelers need for MTI don't effectively use or give up using this information because much information from several TMC (Transportation ManagementCenter) is scattered in separate web site. This study aims to analyze theimpacts of providing integrated MTI on travelers and to propose indices (e.g., related web searching time). A laboratory experiment was performed for the case of Transport Advice On GOing anywhere (TAGO), which is recently developed MTI systems and designed to provide nationwide traffic information in South Korea. Some results of the empirical study showed the availability of the proposed indices for evaluating integrated MTI systems.
