The aim of the study was two fold (1) to obtain on the basis of available data the indicators for the lack of traffic safety in terms of accidents on road sections and junctions in their relationship with road and traffic characteristics, and (2) to improve the execution and the basis of the method for the calculation of effects for the aspects of traffic safety for the projects mentioned in the Multi-year program for traffic and transport 1986-1990.
