Samenvatting
In a project aimed at proposing a new procedure for overlay design of flexible pavements, the first stage was to study research and experience reported by others. A literature review was performed with special attention to the following topics: (1) design procedures; (2) evaluation of the existing road; (3) calculation of pavement response; (4) relation between pavement response and pavement performance; and (5) effect of different rehabilitation strategies. The report ends with conclusions and suggestions for further research areas. (A)
