BOBSTAR stands for the Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire System for Traffic Accident Records. The BOBSTAR system is intended not only to assist highway design and traffic engineers with accident prevention but also to assist Road Safety Officers to identify "targets" for education and training.
