Samenvatting
The development of electric transport vehicles at Daimler-Benz started in 1972. After 10 years of experience much has changed in the original design and set up, but the main principal has remained. The technical concept of the vehicle is discussed. The interior and the space for the occupants is still the same. The energy consumption can not decrease anymore. The transport vehicles are used by the Postal Service and for a demonstration project in Berlin.
