Pavement damages are judged on the moment on the road itself. It is the intention to replace this procedure by video recording of pavements for the purpose of inspection off the road. The agreement between video estimates and estimates on the spot is reasonably high, when for this criterion unreliability is corrected. Use of videoimages in the inspection procedure is feasible when certain adjustments are made.
