Samenvatting
A thesis is presented on the technical possibilities of the vehicle for restraint systems and safety belts for the protection of vehicle occupants in particular at head-on collisions. Recommendations are given for the development of safety belt systems in which the occupants participate in the deceleration of the vehicle in an as early stadium as possible.
