Samenvatting
Basic requirements in computer programmes for road traffic application are discussed. In an investigation in Aachen different criteria were examined, and concepts for programme selection (both flexible and rigid) were proposed and compared. Development of programmes for junctions and the switching between these programmes is discussed. The investigations are to be continued.
