The goals of the bibliography are to document the contributions of behavioral and social science research to unintentional injury prevention and control and to increase awareness about the impact and importance of behavioral science in the field of injury control. The document appears in two major sections: Section I lists references alphabetically by author and offers a one-page index of pertinent references by selected keywords. Section II is a listing of the references divided into broad subject headings. The headings listed in Section II are as follows: bicycle injuries, behavioral and social determinants of injury, child occupant protection, consumer product safety, cross-cutting topics, drowning, falls, fire and burns, impaired driving, injury prevention education and counseling, motor vehicle injuries, motorcycle safety, occupational injuries, pedestrian injuries, playground injuries, poisoning, reviews, seat belts, sports injuries, and sun-related injuries.
