Samenvatting
With the increasing use of the bicycle as a new mode of transportation, the concern for the safety of riders also is increasing. However, presently the knowledge about bicycle accidents is limited, and there is a need for information on the characteristics and causes of bicycle accidents. This paper strives to contribute towards this need by presenting an analysis of all bicycle accidents which occurred in Milwaukee during 1971 and 1972.
