The bicycle network of Delft, influence on trip- level, network use and route choice of cyclists.

In the city of Delft a bicycle network enhancement plan has been launched, aimed at encouraging bicycle use and improving cycling conditions. The improvements and new provisions are located and designed in such a way that a hierarchical bicy- le network was created consisting of a course sub network and a fine system of local provisions. Results are presented of changes in trip level route choice, network use and volumes.
