By the introduction of the new traffic regulations in 1990 it becomes possible for road administrators to permit moped riders and cyclists to ignore the red traffic signal when turning to the right. This publication discusses in which situations the road administrator can permit this in its relationship with traffic safety, but also in which situations such is not possible.
