Samenvatting
The Victorian designed Bike Ed education scheme was tested. It became apparent that Bike Ed was too concentrated for long term effectiveness. This led to the development of the K-6 (kindergarten to sixth grade) road safety curriculum in which bicycle education is a significant element. The challenge to the future is for a real improvement in driver behaviour through lifetime training.
