Braking and steering effort capabilities of drivers = Capacité d' effort de freinage et de contrôle des conducteurs d' automobiles = Brems- und Steueranstrengungsfähigkeit der Autofahrer.

Two experiments were conducted to determine a level of control that can be exerted or exceeded by high percentage of drivers. In both studies, female subjects were made to respond to an unexpected drastic increase in control effort while attempting manoeuvres in a vehicle. The results are consistent with an other study of maximum control effort in a static package.
