Samenvatting

An instrumented vehicle was used to record driver's electrodermal response, heart rate, and electromyograms from muscles in the right leg. Traffic and road situations involving the use of the brake evoke electrodermal response and are perceived as stressful. Roads should therefore be designed so that the use of the brake is minimized.
