Bridge and road construction in urban areas : particular solution of air pollution and noise problems.

The Municipality of Venice has recently constructed a 1200 meter long road, provided with an 800 meter viaduct, to improve the traffic conditions around the center of the city, allowing for the rapid access of both to the main municipal roads and to the freeway. Solutions are presented for both reducing the polluting effects of traffic and the various aspects of town mobility.
