Samenvatting

A method has been developed for calculating fixed-time signal plans which give buses a measure of priority over other vehicles. the calculations are made by an extension of the TRRL TRANSYT method. It is estimated that the net community benefits attributable to using BUS TRANSYT in Glasgow exceed 100.000 pound per year at no extra cost in equipment.
