Samenvatting

For a residential community, Boston's Chinatown has an extraordinarily large among of vehicular traffic. Congested streets are packed with traffic day and night, seven days a week. In this article, the authors describe how a community-university collaboration brought public health and safety into the local transportation policy-making process by supplementing traditional "level of service" and vehicle volume analyses with injury data.
