Samenvatting
This paper introduces the car-navigation based car computer developed by Fujitsu and Fujitsu Ten. The characteristic of this car computer is in installing the business application in the car navigation system, and the integration of car navigation function and the business application. Compared with other similar systems, the car computer enhances the following functions: (1) upgrading efficiency improvement of the transportation service, (2) the safety improvement and the accident avoidance of the journey, and (3) the system operation cost reduction. The usefulness of the car computer is demonstrated in the commercial vehicle dispatching system. (A*)
