Samenvatting

Smaller cars have a higher occupant fatality rate per car year than larger cars. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the disadvantage of small cars is due to their own small size, or whether it is due to other factors, such as drivers, driving environment, and the presence of larger cars on the highway, with which they can collide.
