Case studies of wrong-way entries at highway interchanges in Virginia. Paper presented at the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Highway Research Board, Washington, January 1974.

The case-study method was used to evaluate wrong-way entry incidents as related to intersection geometry, markings and signs. Five such studies are presented and suggestions for improvement through improved channelization and markings and through signs conveying intersection geometric information to drivers are offered.
