Samenvatting
To deal with local work, the city of Darmstadt has established a special working group on traffic safety, whose organization and competence are discussed, as well as the way results are transferred to the execution level. The use of available results to orientate future local action, the problems encountered in the relationship with the central government and the future claims of the local authorities, are discussed.
