Samenvatting
As a contribution to a discussion, several points of departure and ideas are described, which could form the basis of categorisation of the Dutch road system, in a manner, that is expedient for the road user, the road designer and the road-controlling authority as well. The aim is to improve the quality of the traffic process, with special attention to aspects of traffic safety, through-flow and accessibility. See also B 18663, B 18532 and B 17980.
