Causes and accompanying circumstances of motor accidents involving serious personal injury in the Federal Republic of Germany : accident type A-overtaking.

During 1969 a number of 63084 third party risks cases dealing with traffic accidents resulting in severe injuries have been reported in the Federal Republic. 6.2% of these cases (a total of 3882 accidents) were due to overtaking and resulted in 4914 fatalities and severe injuries. The causes and adventitious circumstances are analyzed. (See also PB-1699).
