Results of studies conducted by the use of a mathematical model for computer simulation with respect to (1) relation of various vehicle crash pulses having the same crash stroke to the occupants' injury; (2) effect on vehicle occupants of the frequency and amplitude of high frequency components appearing in the vehicle crash pulse as a result of buckling of structural members; are presented.
