Samenvatting
This publication contains papers on the methods used to charge for urban road use in Norway, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. The following aspects are considered: a) petrol taxation; b) toll roads, toll rings and parking fees; c) road pricing; d) charging systems for public transport. The United Kingdom contribution was more concerned with the politics of road pricing, the links between charging and financing, and alternatives to road pricing.
