Samenvatting

The relative importance of different types of road accidents as a source of injury to children is considered. A review is made of the available data on child occupant injuries and child pedestrian injuries. Patterns of injury are considered and the relative importance of leg injuries noted. The effects of age on injury patterns are examined.
