Samenvatting
The closed toll system for turnpikes described is presently being operated on the AREA highways in France. This system has been specially engineered for the automatic processing of toll functions and stringent antifraud checking. It uses the magnetic ticket and card technique for data support and minicomputers installed in the equipments for performing processing functions.
