Samenvatting

About a million people live in the Hanover area. As in every other city in the world, none of them likes to spend a lot of unnecessary time in traffic jams or crowded trains. But when 300,000 additional visitors come to the capital of Lower Saxony every day for the world exhibition in the year 2000, new conflicts will arise in many areas. It is therefore important to prevent overloading of the transport systems during the five months between June and October when EXPO will dominate the life of the city. To maintain mobility during this period the Hanoverian and their visitors will have a support: MOVE - the co-operative traffic management system for the Hanover region.
