Cognitive psychology meets the national survey.

Because of their mutual interests, cognitive psychologists and survey researchers might have been expected to have a long history of collaboration. In fact, only recently have attempts been made to foster a dialogue between the two disciplines. This article describes some of the collaborative efforts that have been initiated and shows how mutually beneficial work might be conducted in this interdisciplinary area.
