Samenvatting
The collection and analysis of road traffic data has previously been time consuming, costly, and in many cases adversely affected by the visibility of sensors. A video based system is described which overcomes many of these problems. Data collection is carried out using a unique self- contained trailer which houses the video recording equipment, and forms the stable base required for the video camera which is mounted on top of a 10 m high telescopic mast.
