Colour me confused.

Samenvatting

Many people hold firm ideas that a particular colour is safest for their car because it is more visible, but it is not as simple as that. This article concerns the very complex question of vision, colour, visibility, and the eye. Observations made in Germany, Sweden, and the U.S.A. are reported. The most visible cars in normal lighting are red, orange, and yellow. Against the red soil and yellowed grass of the Australian outback, green might be better.
