Samenvatting

driver information- vision- deformation- drunkenness- fatigue (human)- old people- drug- skill (road user)- decrease- carriageway marking- improvement- 90% of the information required for safe driving decisions is acquired visually. Unsafe driving behavior can be modified by raising the level of information transmitted from the roadway to the driver through improved delineation systems; for example wider-than-standard edge lines significantly improve driving performance and reduce accidents.
