Samenvatting

A series of laboratory trials was performed measuring the psychomotor skills of young and middle-aged subjects. The main anxiolytics studied with alcohol were Diazepam and Lorazepam. It is suggested that the conjugation process is for less influenced by age than is, for example, the hydroxylation. Some age-related changes in the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of Diazepam, Lorazepam and alcohol are shown.
