Samenvatting
Main conclusions from this paper are 1) the nature of injuries of vehicle occupants is the same when the compartment has well or no deformations; 2) there is no correlation between the degree of diminution of the compartment and the severity of injuries and 3) the automobile industry has to strengthen the structure of the compartment to assure a sufficient space for functioning of the discussed systems.
