Samenvatting
The social and aesthetic impact of major highway proposals in urban areas is of such magnitude that the consideration of community values is essential for effective highway planning in such areas. The composition of policy and technical committees appropriate to the direction and control of major transportation studies is not however ideal for community value consideration.
